Who is still using XP as their main OS?

How often do you use Windows XP?

One major annoyance of Windows XP is that it will prevent you from logging in if you don't activate it within 30 days. Is it the only version of Windows that has that "feature"? Because of that is that a real hindrance from anyone trying Windows XP that never had a chance to obtain a key for it?

I have a couple computers running Windows XP with original keys I bought over 20 years ago. I also have a couple Windows XP VMs that I used a "workaround" to activate them. What do people think about doing that? Are any other people doing the same?

I'm basically in the same boat - I have 2 computers with original keys and I run off of acronis backups when things go wrong. I was on linux for 9 months and when I formatted the computer, I ran the acronis backup and it took it and it is still activated. I might test out a 64 bit version but I need to find out this very thing, will is activate on its own?! I feel stuck because my computer would never be able to handle windows 8 or 10 and I'm not interested in 10 anyway.

Create the Activation Status

Navigate to system32 folder.

Copy the wpa.dbl and wpa.bak files and save to a flash drive or cd.

Reinstall XP in the normal manner

Restart the computer and use the F8 key to bring up the Advanced Boot Options

Select Safe Mode using Up and Down Arrow Keys and press Enter.

Navigate to system32 folder.

Rename the existing wpa.dbl and wpa.bak files.

Copy the previously backed up wpa.dbl and wpa.bak files to the system32 folder.

Reboot the computer.

I have a dell computer and these files are the original files that were on the pc, I have since placed them in every reinstall and have not had to activate. :)

Well I tried to get away from Windows and I used Zorin OS for 9 months and eventually I just got fed up with the non ease of use and incompatibility issue between distros ... so I'm back to XP and I use Supermium Browser now and quite enjoy it along with Lun3r browser by @K4sum1 and I'm satisfied with it and glad to be back to windows XP again as my main OS.
Is the Lun3r browser the same as the Lunar browser I see advertised online ? Either way, which version should I download for XP ?

Lun3r is a browser by @K4sum1 from eclipse and not the same as Lunar browser - I've seen that browser but never experimented with it. You should give Lun3r a try (I'm using it now in fact) and you won't be disappointed.

I rebase the following with improved results:

rebase.exe -b 61D90000 freebl3.dll lgpllibs.dll libEGL.dll libGLESv2.dll mozavcodec.dll mozavutil.dll mozglue.dll nss3.dll nssckbi.dll nssdbm3.dll qipcap.dll softokn3.dll xul.dll d3dcompiler_47.dll

You are welcome to give my user.js a try that I've attached.
