Problem when Booting up XP computer !

I find this to be the case with many new posters. Apparently we're supposed to divine the make/model etc. and provide a quick simple fix. I tend to ignore postings that lack relevant information.

I reiterate my stance - Legacy OSes are for PC experts, not novices.
I actually find troubleshooting older OS to be an easier task than with the newer OS. The new computers don't even want to let you enter the bios easily. They "boot" so fast because of the stupid hybrid shutdown thing that was introduced with Windows 8 that you don't even have time to press the keys.

I have had a home computer for 45 years a PC for almost 30 years. I have never had a problem getting into a PCs BIOS.

Hibernate is enabled by default but can be disabled if you don't like it. However, even when it is enabled that just means I just have to be more diligent and start tapping the appropriate key without delay. For many of my computers this is the DEL key.
