Windows XP professional won't start up.

It starts booting up, but then it says Windows couldn't start. Then it makes me manually choose which option to boot up with. (Safe mode, Most recent settings that worked, Start Normally, etc) I tried each one but I always get the same blue screen: "A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer." It asks if I have adequate disk space which I know I do. Then recommends running in safe mode which I already did. Under Technical Information it says:
*** STOP 0X0000007E (0xC0000005, 0x8050B73E, 0xF89CD3E4, 0xF89CD0E0)

Have you recently added any new drivers? Mine kept doing the same thing because of a graphics driver I installed. Once I uninstalled it, it worked fine.

A description of your computer and what you did to it before you had this problem would be helpful.
