Windows XP Computer Fails to Boot

When I turn on my computer, I see the Windows XP logo, but then the screen goes black.
In safe mode, it prompts me to activate Windows, which isn't possible in safe mode.
My computer came with XP pre-installed, so I don't have the installation disc to restore it.

This issue started after I tried installing 'One Core API.'
