Startup to desktop

Hello to all...
I am trying to find a way to get my xp box to boot up without a log in screen...I want to run it from a remote location and at times the power isn't very stable...I would like it to come back up with the desktop and one program already running...is this possible???

If you are the only user then all you have to do is go to Control Panel>User Accounts and select change the way users log in or off. Then select Use the Welcome Screen.

To configure a program to start automatically

Right-click Start, and then click Explore. Windows Explorer opens and displays your Start menu.

In the left pane, click Programs. Browse to find the program you want to automatically open. In the right pane, right-click the program, and then click Copy.

In the left pane, click Programs, right-click Startup, and then click Paste.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more programs to your Startup group.

The programs you add to the Startup group will start automatically the next time you log on to your computer.
