NTI Backup NOW 4.

Does anyone know or use the above program ? After restoring my crashed Acer laptop I have been exploring which programs are installed. The above program is shown, but trying to access it I get the message - 'the program is not correctly installed, please re-install.' However, I use Macrium Reflect to an external drive, so I am thinking that NTI Backup would be surplus if I did manage to re-install or update it.
BUT I see that NTI CD&DVD Maker-7 is also installed. I am able to access that program, and there are many sub-programs there, ie. Data;Video; Photo; BACKUP; Copy; Audio.
I am now thinking that NTI Backup NOW4 is superfluous to Macrium, AND it looks as though I have everything needed with the NTI CD&.......Maker-7.
As the laptop is second hand I assume that the programs were on when new, and I have no way of contacting the previous owner to clarify any points, etc.

I was about to remove both NTI ..4, and also NTI...7 with Revo Uninstaller, but will wait for advice in here.
Thanks.

above has some reviews for this program, now on most backup (different from image) you can back up data but not programs,

depending on the macrium? restore you used it may have restored the name and place for the program but not the program, and if you still want the program there are free download available.

but if you have not ever used this program and even if you are going to download it, I would remove it completely first. , since it is obviously corrupted

Elizabeth23, Thanks for the clarification re NTI. After posting this new query I tried using NTI CD&DVD Maker-7, and although I could go into different sub-menus, and whilst 'exploring' each one, I found that those relating to data, backup, and copy would not run correctly. It looks as though the NTI ....7 may also be corrupted. As I have never used the NTI,and both look faulty/incomplete, I will remove both.
Being a novice and being aware that the NTI's were on when it was brand new, I wanted to be sure they could be wiped without causing problems.
Thanks again.
