Windows XP Lasted Long but MORE LONG THAN OTHER OS FROM MICROSOFT because 1. Longhorn was cancelated 2. Vista was only stable for Today-Pc's not 2006 Pc's 3. Microsoft try to get better reputation of vista with SP1 & SP2, bad times for microsoft means good days for us \>:v/

Yeah, I'm glad Vista was a failure it just meant more support for xp, but unfortunately, to Microsoft it didn't, no IE9 or DX10. (Though DX10 has hardly any exclusive games and there are ports.)
