How to install XP pro 64 bit with UEFI to an NVMe drive

Hello all!

I´m trying to install XP pro 64 bit to an UEFI DELL PC with NVMe adapter.

Windows 7 pro 64 is booting and running at the PC.
Now I want to install XP (W7 can be deleted) with UEFI boot and to the NVMe drive.

What to do in this case to get XP setup (from USB stick) recognize the NVMe drive and how to tweak XP setup to run in UEFI mode?

Thx for your help and best regards

Peter

Model number or Service Tag would be helpful in determining whether XP drivers are available for your system. Without XP drivers it will be an uphill battle.

I don't think it would have any drivers for XP, unless it's 10+ years old.
You can try your luck in MSFN's Windows XP forum, as there are more people attempts to do those kind of stuff.

I also heard that you can't install XP 64 from a flash drive. It has to be a disc. I have tried to use a flash drive before and couldn't do it.
