Freecell and Solitaire

I have just wiped XP (upgraded to 7 long ago), and forgot to capture the Freecell and Solitaire games, and I am unable to find them in the CAB files. Does anybody out there in XP land happen to have copies of these two files that I can have? I really prefer the old versions to the new ones currently on 7. (Or maybe you can point me to where I can download them.)

If you want the XP version to run on Windows 7, then what you need to do is to copy the "Freecell.exe" and "Cards.dll" files from the C:\Windows\System32 folder on your XP system to some other folder on your Windows 7 system. Put both files in the same folder, but don't put them into the System32 folder 'cause they'll wipe out the Windows 7 version of the program.

To run the program, just double-click the "Freecell.exe" file. You can create a shortcut to the file on your desktop or pin the program to the taskbar or start menu.

if you do not have your xp cd to get these files, I have uploaded them to my onedrive:

download the files cards.dll, freecell, and sol

it is just freecell and sol in the listing, it is alphabetical.

Something's wrong here. When I follow your link, I see shell32.dll followed by spoolsv, but no sol in between; under "f", I see only filelist.xml. I tried logging in, but that made no difference. What am I doing wrong?

I do not know, I see them both freecell and sol, and I downloaded both to be sure they would download., Did you wait for the page to finish loading??

send me a pm with your email address and I will email the files to you, and my images did not show up in this forum either??

Your download site.

May I ask you more about your download site. Exactly where is it.
Can one upload files there free and then make them public for anyone to use them.
Thanks
