On the same drive with XP, I once installed Windows 7 and then I deleted it, keeping only XP. Now, whenever I boot computer, Windows 7 boot menu shows up with unexisting Windows 7 option, and one for the XP. I did everything in XP (removing dual boot options from boot.ini, keeping only xp), but the computer always shows Windows 7 boot. How can I delete it?

recovery console, do a fixboot and a fixmbr then reboot
